Ilkley Literature Festival
The North's most exciting literature festival returns with a programme with speakers ranging from England cricket star Moeen Ali to Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
As ever, Ilkey Literature Festival welcomes exciting names in literary fiction including Kate Mosse, Fiona Mozley and Nikesh Shukla, while poets reading their work include Imtiaz Dharker, Gillian Clarke and Simon Armitage (pictured).
The Festival also welcomes back Jacqueline Wilson to headline the accompanying children’s festival, along with Horrible Histories creator Terry Deary.
There's also a feast of workshops and masterclasses with leading writers.
With events on everything from Frankenstein to climate change (see this news story), not to mention the Festival Fringe, the Ilkley Literature Festival has something for everyone!
Tickets go on general sale 10.00am Tuesday 28 August.
