Kirkstall Valley micro grants funding opportunity

11th June, 2019 - 15:20

Open Source Arts (OSA) and Kirkstall Valley Development Trust (KVDT) are collaborating to launch a new micro-grant scheme, inviting innovators, activists, community builders and climate positive pioneers who want to make a difference.

The scheme is looking to fund projects which improve the environment and quality of life for people living, working, enjoying or travelling through the Kirkstall Valley, including the communities of Armley, Burley, Bramley and Kirkstall and as far as Rodley and Horsforth.

The first round of applications are now open with a deadline of Wednesday 19 June. The awards event will be on Wednesday 3rd July at Open Source Arts where up to 4 grants of £250 will be awarded.

The Trust and Open Source Arts also welcome involvement from people who might not want to apply for an award but who would like to help with the process.

The application process for the grants is quick and easy: go to http://kirkstallvalleygrants.org/ for more information and to apply.

There will be grant rounds a few times a year presenting further opportunities to apply if you are not successful this time.
