Passivhaus and the Road to Zero Carbon

Tuesday, 13 November, 2018 - 09:30 to 19:30
Cloth Hall Court Quebec Street Leeds LS1 2HA

Climate change is one of the biggest threats we face today, and its effects are already being felt through changing weather patterns. We must reduce global CO2 emissions to zero to address this. In the UK, buildings in use account for 43% of CO2 emissions, providing a significant opportunity to make energy & carbon savings. At the same time, we have a responsibility to deliver healthy and productive environments, so must exceed ‘business as usual’.

Passivhaus is a proven route to help achieve these targets AND provide excellent occupant comfort and quality. Is the rigour and robustness of the Passivhaus Standard a step too far, and how do we pick up the pace to deliver solutions fast enough?

Join us in Leeds on the 13th November to debate all this and more.
