As part of three days of intensive mountain culture Performing Mountains are hosting a restaging of Lone Twin’s debut performance ‘On Everest’.  

A five and a-half mile ascent to the summit of Mount Everest – lots of running, lots of talking, lots of polystyrene balls and some dancing.  Performed on the flat of the studio, On Everest is part academic lecture and part endurance event. The debut work by Lone Twin, On Everest is a much celebrated but little seen performance, one that began the company’s now 21-year fascination with place, journey, friendship and hope.
