Climate Chats
What first comes to mind when you think about climate change? How concerned are you about it - and what actions are you personally prepared to undertake to help tackle it?
Addressing climate change is the theme of Green GB Week (15-19 October) and here in Leeds we are having a city-wide conversation about it, starting on Monday at Leeds Station.
Researchers from the Priestley International Centre for Climate at the University of Leeds will be chatting about climate change with members of the public, conducting a survey on what people think about climate solutions and giving out information. As part of the survey they will be collecting questions to put to a panel of climate scientists for Climate Question Time in Leeds on Thursday 18 October.
There will also be short performances of climate poetry set to music, using the station's piano!
Come along and meet us at any time between 11.00am-2.00pm and talk to scientists to find out how you can be part of the solution.
The survey is also available online. Please complete by Tuesday 16 October 12.00 if you wish your question to be considered for the Climate Question Time.
